At Alex Hannaford personal training my clients are always our focus and we refuse to compromise on the quality of delivery. Working alongside you to create a bespoke solution to help you reach your goals. I don’t believe fitness is just about achieving a six-pack, – it’s about how you move, feel, think, and breathe.

My aim is to enable you to perform better in the gym, but also to link that to everyday activities: walking up that flight of stairs, picking up the children or grandchildren, strengthening that ongoing back injury or simply being happier and having more confidence in how you look and feel.

Whether you are exercising at our 3500 square feet luxury private gym, at home or at your workplace, I can help.

I will have a look at your movement patterns, strength, and flexibility during an assessment to find any potential areas of restriction or dysfunction that could disrupt your training or cause injury in the future. I will discuss training programs you have had in the past, and any injuries that may have occurred. We can also have an in-depth look at your out of gym and work habits and put solutions in place to make sure your program isn’t affected.

I have previously worked with athletes, company owners, busy city workers, pre and post-natal mums, elderly clients and post operation injuries over the last 18 years. This wealth of experience means I can help you, whatever your goals. I am also a father to two young children, and understand the difficulties presented by tiredness and fatigue, and the impact they can have on exercise and diet. This is why my design of programs and approach to exercise works. I understand that to make permanent and long-term improvements to your health & wellbeing, a specific plan must be put in place that coaches you how you eat, move and sleep properly. My cutting-edge programmes have been strategically designed to help facilitate these changes and achieve optimal performance in all areas of your daily life.
